Sarah
(Bond) Murphy was my 1st cousin once removed, the daughter
of George and Elizabeth (Stillwell) Bond. George was the brother to
my 2nd gt-grandfather Solomon Bond. Both Sarah and Preston
were deaf and met at the Oregon deaf school. They were married in
1874 and were married for over 50 years until Preston died the last
of November 1930 and Sarah died a little over a month later 4 Jan
1931.
